Fees & policies—
Fee structure—
If your child is older than 3 years
- A minimum day booking of 6 hours 15 mins applies
(either 8.45am–3pm or 9am–3.15pm) - 20 hours ECE will be offered free (up to 6 hours per day for a maximum of 20 hours per week)
- A discount of 10% will be applied to your total account if your booking is for 4 or 5 days a week
- All food is included in the daily rate however, there will be no refunds if your child wishes to bring his/her lunch box
If your child is younger than 3 years
- A morning or afternoon session at a minimum of 3 hours applies (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm)
- A minimum day booking is 6 hours (9am-3pm)
- A discount of 10% will be applied if your booking is for more than 35 hours for the week
- All food is included in the daily rate however, there will be no refunds if your child wishes to bring his/her lunch box
Holidays/sickness—
One weeks’ notice must be given prior to a holiday, otherwise full fees will apply.
Parents must contact Riverside by 8am to qualify for a sick day, otherwise full fees will apply.
Your child is entitled to seven weeks of holidays & sick days per year in total, based on your permanent booking. E.g. If your child attends three days a week, they would be entitled to 21 holiday/sick days (3 days x 7 weeks). Further holidays can be taken but full fees will apply.
Holidays/sick days are charged out at 50% if notice as above is given. A child may take up to 3 consecutive weeks off thereafter, full fees will apply as The Ministry of Education will cease funding.
Minimum enrolment / discounts—
Family discount:
- 2 or more children, 10% discount on second and subsequent children.
Minimum enrolment:
- At least 2 days per week for over 3’s
- At least 3 sessions per week for under 3’s
